THE TOWERS FELL
Haiku Poems
Early morning,
Tuesday 2001,
september 11, a
remembered day,
television and radio
said the same,
something terrible,
suddenly came,
in downtown airplane
one tower crashed.
Confusion, questions,
people afraid,
nobody knows certainly
when,
the peace in the
country became to the end,
time after that
everybody said,
millions people died
on tragic day,
I couldn’t
understand.
Our life’s are no
longer safe,
terrorist in the city
are awake,
watching the people
run, go away,
the twin towers
collapsed then,
silence, sadness
widespread,
the lost lifes I will
never forget.
Just in that moment
to GOD claim help,
asking what happened
in New York State,
the answer still
wait, I haven’t yet,
I hope to go back to
that place,
trying to find the
towers again,
Remember forever are
so many faces,
in memory to then
continue prayed,
hearts are broken,
it’s too much pain,
when the men go out
losing the faith,
forgetting Lord on
the right way,
nothing remain
between the Sky and the Earth.
